*Raymond Clark's phone rings and answers. He is at hostel in Chicago where he lives and there's nothing in there but his bed, a tv and a cordless phone on his night stand. The room has no shower an d looks like a dive. He hangs up the phone and pops a couple of painkillers. He sits up, stares at the ground, and you can only see his moppy long hair in the way of what he looks like. Raymond Clark is now 39 years old. He ended his wrestling career five years ago on a Monday Night Gemini broadcast after his match with Angel. He is desperately looking for a job. He only works as a bouncer for a downtown club part time. He knows what he did to PWW years ago looks bad on his resume. He wants to go back into wrestling but has to earn it.*
*Raymond Clark no longer cares about his past friendships with Davey Boone or anyone else that was in his path. He thinks he is a space cadet. As for Angel he wants to patch things up with him and the company that he deep down regrets letting down. He gets up from bed and opens the blinds He lights up a cigarette and takes a deep breath. It is dark outside and is ready to head over to the nightclub to see what surprises are in store for tonight. It could be one-on-one confrontations. Perhaps two or three on one. *
*Moments later Raymond shows up at the club. He is on ID duty. He stands in front of the door with no expression, checking up on ID's and keeps it short. This keeps going on and on. He finds time to b's with other employees around him. He mentions that he wants to step back in the ring again and lace up the boots. He wants to make sure PWW wants him back.*
*Ray goes back home and lays in his bed. He stares at the ceiling, wondering if PWW wants to take him back. He busts out a digital camera to make a promo. He's been doing this for a couple years now.*
Ray: So today was just another day. Same old crowd, same old gig..It's running thin. Back when I was a professional wrestler, there were many surprises. Things never got too old and the crowds were different. Everyone knew who I was and I never knew who the people were. It's amazing how fame can work. You become a juggernaut. You are amazing. You are loved. You are a force everyone wants to become. I have done it all before and I can bring that lifestyle back to me....
I did not need it obviously when I destroyed PWW's property five years ago that put a damper on my career. Heck, it ended my career. I could not handle the criticisms or the harsh reality the sport can offer. I will admit I have grown insecure. I was very neurotic with my surroundings so I put myself through the ultimate test and it is fair to say because of that, I was placed in the most ridiculous match in PWW history. *chuckles*
So I am asking the staff of PWW this....as I stand before you right now with an apology, I am showing you that I am a man. It took me 40 years to grow up I mean hell who hasn't done anything stupid in their life? I am willing to admit I was a horses-butt about a lot of crap in the past. I was angry with you guys and desperate for attention. Desperation can make any human being do the most ridiculous stuff out there and I did that with the US title. I want to show you the new Raymond Clark. Someone you can count on making this promotion what it should be. I am willing to put us on the map and I have searched hard for it.
The hatchet is buried. Let's face the music. Raymond Clark is back and ready.
