My brother isn't what most would call the caring type. He doesn't get all emotional at... well anything... In fact his main goal in life is to be as happy as humanly possible.
Wrestling made him happy. Getting in that ring and just pounding faces into the mat made him more happy than I've ever seen him and when Tyrant ended his career, I saw the man I knew as my brother crumble to pieces.
He became a wreck, a shell of his former self, drinking all the time and sleeping with pretty much anything with tits that moved.
But he didn't stay in that slump, see I decided one day that I wanted to do what he did, and I wanted to do it better. I went to the same school he went to, got the same training he got, and when I felt I was ready I tried out for every promotion that would answer the phone.
It didn't go well. I was rejected at every turn, until my sister, betrothed to the one you know as Angel, pulled a few strings and got me a job. It was great at first, going out there, wrestling in front of those people, busting my ass. But then the loses started piling up one after the other and before long it wasn't fun anymore.
It was a struggle.
Then Chris, Maniac, came to me and offered to work with me, he offered to put the boots back on and become my partner, to aid me in my rise to the top. At first I was so happy, I couldn't believe that the guy who never gave me the time of day wanted to train me, take me under his wing. And my happiness with Chris was short lived.
Our "team" was all about him, and it always would be, till I took him out. Injuring his leg.
Chris had a secret, one he had only ever told me. His neck was shot, he needed to have it fused, and his leg injury was just the excuse to do it. When he came back it was as a staff member and once again he offered to take me under his wing.
This time however was much different. Chris came to find out one of the men on the roster was his son, one he never knew existed, and this son became his new focus, where as I was casted off as the disgrace I had been made out to be.
But I got my revenge. I ran his son out of the promotion, then I got Chris in the ring, and I dropped him right on his ego filled head, officially ending his career once and for all.
Now I'm here, in PWW, where he started, where it all started really, and my goal is to blow his legacy out of the water. To wipe Maniac's name from the record books forever and replace it with Rob Diamond, because that is my Dream, and America is all about making your dreams come true.
With my opening over and done with I bring the camera into focus, giving these lovely fans a visual of the Xtreme American Dream. My hair is mussed, the red streak is not exactly straight, my hoody is ablaze with "PWW" logo and my jeans look tattered, but thats the style these days. I look into the lens, letting it sink in that I'm finally here, I'm finally a part of PWW. The FargoDome, North Dakota, not too far from the home of Agent Orange, the man who personally called me and offered me a position on the roster. I couldn't turn him down, I couldn't turn this down. The opportunity to be a part of history. Everyone who remembers PWW remembers that it was the very "pinnacle" of the wrestling world, and to even be associated with it was an honor. I look around me at the empty arena, imagining what it will be like on the 25th when this place is sold out, packed to the rafters with screaming fans.
"I've dreamed of this day for a long time. The things that were done here, under the PWW banner are legendary, and now a new generation get to make their mark where so many have treaded before."
That's right, and it all starts for me with one man, a man called Chris Andrews.
"Chris Andrews, I really don't know too much about you, other than you've been around the block a few times. The boys in the back, they've informed me that your no joke, your not someone to be taken lightly, and given the slightest opportunity to shine, you shine brighter than everyone else. I like that Chris, you have dreams and ambitions, you probably have always fought for what you want and what you believe in. Which is allot more than I can say for some of the people involved with this company."
Not just PWW, the entire damn Country walks around with this smug look on their face, holding out their hands and expecting you to give up what you have to help them.
"It's no secret that I hate people who want the world handed to them. In fact I despise those types of people. I believe their refereed to as Democrats. They think everything should be fair, equal, that we should all have the same things, and work together in some sort of harmony for the betterment of each other."
Bull ****.
"I say, the strong survive, the weak get devoured. If you can't keep up, get the hell out of the way. I'm not here to help my fellow man, I'm not here to share my success. I'm here to be the World Heavy Weight Champion. I'm here to squash the memory of Maniac. I'm here to live, breath and bleed PWW. I don't do this for fans, I don't do this for woman, I do it to be the best at it, to take what I can from it, I do it because it's all I've ever known, all I will ever know, and I will not let anyone, not even someone who possibly shares the same beliefs as me get in my way."
Don't like it? Cry to mommy.
"It's just a warning Chris. I'm the Xtreme American Dream, I'll do what I have to do to reach that title. Bleed, break bones, yours or mine, end careers, destroy families, anything Chris, I'll walk through Hell to get to that belt. So just keep that in mind when you get in the ring with me on Gemini. I didn't come here to make friends and play paddy cake. Like me, hate me, do what you gotta do, just don't expect to beat me."
Winning and losing aren't options, there aren't any options, theres only winning, this match, the next match, and eventually that World Title. I'll make my name here, I'll carve my legacy in the flesh of those who fall before me, I will be the PWW World Heavy Weight Champion.
